New ambassador in the AMULET Liaison Office!
CENTRO ESPAÑOL DE PLÁSTICOS (CEP) is our new member in the AMULET Liaison Office.
Short description of the organisation
CEP is a Spanish association, founded in 1953, with the mission of contributing to the knowledge and establishment of a responsible culture, the good use of thermoplastics and composites, and the promotion of R&D&I to improve competitiveness.
CEP was registered as an AEI Cluster in 20215, in order to consolidate as a business group and continue innovating through collaboration, as well as, facing the challenges of Industry 4.0, and aligned with the importance given to the cluster by the European 2020 Strategy aimed at excellence for a strengthened industrial sector, being the First Spanish Cluster of Plastics and Composites.
On the other hand, CEP carries out sectoral studies, the only one of its kind in Spain, with statistics on the evolution of the sector, and has a wide range of training courses on topics related to the plastics and composites industry (processes, manufacturing, materials, finishes, design, etc.).
On the other hand, it organizes numerous conferences and dissemination and networking events, aimed at improving the competitiveness of companies, and disseminates projects.
