The main objective of the webinar was to raise awareness of the important IP management issues that arise in collaborative R&D&I grant projects. It is important that consortium participants are aware of both the benefits and challenges of such collaborations.
They could also learn about the IP issues that can arise before the start of such a project, during its implementation, and after its completion. We highlighted typical misunderstandings and information gaps among SMEs and the difficulties that can arise in this area due to the different interests, strategies, and future development visions of the partners. Particular attention was paid to the issue of joint ownership of IP, its main challenges, and possible legal solutions and instruments.
