Webinar: Characterization & modelling

The webinar was aimed at experts from the automotive industry, material scientists, as well as researchers and developers in the field of composite materials. In this webinar, the integrative simulation of injection molding and structural analyses of fiber-reinforced plastics were presented. Furthermore, the example of a side impact beam was used to demonstrate how the production-related orientation of the reinforcing fibers is taken into account in an anisotropic structural simulation to predict product performance under real operating conditions. Other selected practical examples and case studies were provided for further insights into the latest technologies and methods used in the development and manufacture of high-performance fiber-plastic composites. This was an opportunity to exchange ideas with experts and gain valuable insights into the latest trends and technologies.

Topic: “Integrative simulation for the process and structural analysis of fiber-reinforced plastics”
